Khosa & Rizvi’s banking and finance practice is a founding
practice of the firm and continues to represent one of Khosa
& Rizvi’s signature strengths. More than half of the firm's
one hundred largest clients are bank holding companies,
commercial banks, investment banks, insurance companies,
leasing companies, asset-based lenders or institutional real
estate companies. Alongside several other banks whom we
represent, we are proud to be the legal representatives of
one of the largest banks in Pakistan i.e. Muslim Commercial
Bank Limited.
Our banking and finance practice also represents numerous

investors, hedge funds, financial service boutiques, spin

We have acted on clients instructions ranging from lending
transactions (both secured and unsecured) including
syndicated loan, medium-term loans, single or multi-currency
facilities and financial products such as multiple option
facilities, revolving underwriting facilities and commercial
paper. We prepare and review security documentation (charges,
guarantees and ancillary documents). Our practice also
includes advice on the formulation and implementation of
credit card/debit card schemes, retail banking, e-banking and
consumer credit.
We on our regular basis acted for some of the top brokerage
houses and securities firm(s) within Pakistan and have been
regularly rendering our expert legal advice to Pervez Ahmed
Securities Limited (PASL) and D.S. Industries Limited (DSIL)
(both renowned public listed companies).

companies, joint ventures and partnerships, the Firm engages
in major transactional work. We also render advice from time
to time on setting up joint venture projects by local and
multinational firms.

companies involved in the Textile and Carpet Industry of
Pakistan and give our expert advice on sales tax, customs
duties, excise tax and other taxation matters to many
companies in Pakistan.

land and property management have been covered. We have
regularly opined in the field of real estate development and
matters pertaining to sale and purchase of commercial and

property transactions (we are currently the legal advisors to
Best Brands Inc. in regard to the DHA Homes project here in
DHA, Lahore).
